When I was a kid being forced to go to catholic school and church, my idea of Jesus was like this pic. I felt like he had me at gun point everyday of my life. If you have ever heard the term "catholic guilt" I can tell you, it's real. Any time I did anything "wrong" to Catholicism standards, the feeling of overwhelming guilt and sadness would take over. What sick and twisted mind would want to make a child go through those feelings on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis? Don't let
Jesus Slave your children's thoughts and emotions. Please, let them think freely.
